An Alcohol free Tiramisu recipe that is halal and kosher, and is a crowd favourite.
Use a double boiler or place bowl over pot of simmering water ( water should not touch the bowl).
Whisk egg yolks with sugar for 10-12 minutes until pale yellow and creamy.
Remove from heat and fold in the cheeses.
Dip ladyfingers in brewed coffee and arrange one layer in dish. They don't have to be of equal size.
Spread half of the cheese mixture. Add few teaspoons of coffee for extra coffee flavour.
Repeat another layer of biscuits and top with remaining half of cheese mixture.
Sift cocoa powder generously and top with chocolate shavings.
Chill for 4 hours to overnight. Enjoy!
