A classic French custard like dessert that can be made with any berries in season.

  • 300 grams berries your choice of berries
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Extra sugar for topping and ramekins
  • Extra butter for ramekins
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180c. 

  2. Combine all ingredients (except for berries) in a bowl and whisk very well. 

  3. Butter ramekins and coast with sugar. 

  4. Pour custard and fill 3/4th of ramekins.

  5. Evenly distribute berries into custard.

  6. Sprinkle some more sugar on top and bake at 180c for 25 minutes, till still slightly jiggly in the centre. 

  7. Serve warm. Bon App├ętit!
